Movement is for life.
Not performance.

I'm Stéphanie, French yoga teacher, and someone who has lived in four countries before landing in Málaga. France, England, Singapore, Madrid, and now here, with the Mediterranean outside my window. Each move brought a new version of life to adapt to, and at some point the body starts keeping score.

I came to yoga in my twenties, more out of curiosity than anything else, and stayed a student for ten years, through every move and every new country. It was after having my children that I decided to take my teacher training. Not looking for spirituality. Looking for answers. Something had shifted in my body that I didn't fully understand, and I wanted to know why: why certain postures help certain problems in the body. That curiosity led me to Singapore, to Tirisula Yoga, a school renowned for its Ashtanga, one of the most demanding styles of yoga, and to a 200-hour teacher training that changed how I think about movement entirely.

Since then, yoga has been my every morning, even on the days when all I can manage is ten minutes. It's when I feel better in my body, start the day relaxed, and take the "me time" that work, kids and everyday chaos otherwise never leave room for.

Now I'm over 40. I wake up stiff most mornings. I spend around eight hours a day at a desk. And I absolutely refuse to accept that as a fatality. Every day I use yoga to release the tensions that accumulate, to stay flexible and strong enough to keep living the life I love: hiking, travelling, rock climbing, water sports, acroyoga with my kids. Always active. Always without pain.

I've since taught more than 1000 students across Singapore and Spain. My greatest pleasure is watching them leave with a relaxed smile on their face, even on the days the practice has challenged them.

My own practice keeps growing too. I've attended ten yoga retreats as a student and just as many workshops: headstands, handstands, acroyoga, Ayurveda, hip openers and, more recently, aerial yoga.

"I wake up stiff. I sit at a desk all day. And I refuse to call that a fatality."

That's who I teach for. Not people who want to become yogis. People who want to hike without their hips aching, travel without their back seizing up, play with their kids without wincing. People who know movement matters and just need a way back in.

Four principles behind everything I do.

These aren't just teaching philosophies. They're the things that changed how I move, and how I help others do the same.

Progressive over perfect

The goal is never a perfect pose. It's a practice that builds, week over week, in a direction that makes sense for your body. Small consistent progress beats sporadic intensity every time.

Breath leads movement

Every session begins with breath, not as an afterthought, but as the foundation. When you learn to breathe with your movement, everything changes: your endurance, your focus, your recovery.

Strength and softness together

Flexibility without strength creates instability. Strength without softness creates rigidity. Real mobility lives in the balance between the two, and that's exactly what we build.

Movement for the long game

I won't promise yoga will make you slimmer. What I can promise is this: practiced consistently, it will keep you active, mobile and strong well into old age, so you can keep doing the things that make life worth living, for as long as possible.
