Private Sunset Yoga in Málaga: A New Way to Celebrate

Friends enjoying a private sunset yoga event on a sea-view deck in Málaga

A private sunset yoga experience in Málaga reserves a sea-view deck in Cerrado de Calderón for your group for two hours: a 75-minute yoga class adapted to all levels, then cava and a vegetarian tapas platter. It costs from €250 for up to 5 people, plus €20 per extra guest up to 10, with mats, towels and water included.

It is booked on request, and you get a reply within 24 hours. Smaller private classes are €60 for 1 person, €100 for 2 people or €180 for a small group of 3-6, and regular private coaching is available on request.

A lot of celebrations default to dinner, drinks or somewhere noisy. That can be fun, but it is not always what people actually want. A private yoga gathering offers a slower kind of experience: time together, a beautiful setting, and something everyone can share.

What the experience includes

The Private Sunset Event is a 2-hour private booking of our sea-view deck in Cerrado de Calderón, Málaga. The deck is reserved for your group alone, so there are no shared spaces and no strangers. The format is simple:

  • A 75-minute yoga class adapted to all levels.
  • Cava and a vegetarian tapas platter while the sun sets over the Mediterranean.
  • Mats, towels and water included. You only need comfortable clothing.
  • Up to 5 people included, plus €20 per extra guest up to 10. You can also bring your own playlist.

Why a yoga class suits a celebration

Being active together is good for wellbeing. The NHS notes that activity can boost mood, and that good relationships are important for mental wellbeing, with a sense of belonging and emotional support (NHS). A shared class gives a group both at once, and it gives people something to do together other than sit across a table.

The class is also real yoga, not a token stretch before the drinks. Practice adapted to the group still works range, joint control, strength and balance together, and the NHS lists yoga among its muscle-strengthening activities (NHS). If your group includes people who feel stiff or out of practice, Yoga for Mobility After 40 shows how that works.

The slow breathing woven through a class helps people wind down. The NHS describes breathing exercises as a quick way to manage stress, and says you get the most benefit if you do them regularly (NHS). A calm hour before cava sets a different tone to the evening.

Who it suits best

  • Birthdays and milestone celebrations
  • Hen groups that want something calmer and more original
  • Couples and small groups who want an intimate class
  • Visitors in Málaga, including hotel and Airbnb guests, and teams planning a corporate wellness day

Pose to try

Seated Side Stretch

Sit comfortably, ground one hand beside you, and reach the other arm overhead into a gentle side bend. It is an easy shape for mixed-level groups and reflects the relaxed, open feeling that suits a sunset practice well.

This is one shape, not a complete practice. The 75-minute class is planned around your group.

When to see a doctor

Check with your GP before you start if you have a heart or joint condition, are pregnant, or are recovering from an injury or surgery, and stop and seek advice if you feel chest pain, dizziness or sharp pain. Tell the teacher about any injury before class so the practice can be adapted.
